For the older participants, the race provides a unique
opportunity to stay active and engaged in the sport.
Metto emphasized the significance of the event in fostering
a sense of community and encouraging physical activity at all ages.
"Whether you're 5 or 70, the Ngelel-Tarit race is a celebration of running
and well-being," he said. "It’s a chance for everyone to challenge
themselves, connect with others, and be part of something special."
With strong community support and a growing interest in
athletics, the Ngelel-Tarit race is set to be another highlight in the Uasin
Gishu County sports calendar. Participants, young and old, are ready to hit the
starting line with enthusiasm, as they continue to inspire one another and the
broader community through their passion for running.
