Athletics Kenya President Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Jack Tuwei addressed the crowd with an inspiring message, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young talent. "We are committed to identifying and developing future champions," Tuwei said, acknowledging the importance of grassroots programs in cultivating the next generation of athletes.

Barnabas Korir, AK’s Youth Development Director, also shared his insights, highlighting the significance of youth participation in sports. “Today’s event is just one example of how Athletics Kenya continues to create opportunities for children to develop their potential. We believe that starting young helps shape not only athletic ability but also character,” Korir explained.
